Shooting Day With Jeremiah

Yeah, don't mess with me when I have a gun.... :)
Jeremiah's "Cool dude" look. :)

Having a blast!

I love this!

This past weekend my cousin Jeremiah came up to visit Grandma for the weekend.... and stopped by at the Funny Farm! He brought one of his "New toys", so we spent the afternoon shooting our 22's, and his Winchester P-22 (pistol). It was a lot of fun! Before Jeremiah left to go back to the Cities, I made some spaghetti for supper, and we had lots of laughs around the table as the day came to an end...

March Madness!

Well, the weather has been insanely crazzzy here! Not only was winter not "winter" in the eyes of most Wisconsinites, but we had (what I think) a record for warm weather on the 17th of March! Here at our house, we hit 85 degrees!!! The past few days have been all shorts, and T-shirt weather! So unusual for Wisconsin! But, I must say, we sure are enjoying it though!!!

Two weeks in the Cities

A few of you know that I was going to fly down with my Grandma to Alabama, and spend some time with her there for a few weeks. Well, because of such short notice, and many events going on here and in MN, we decided that Grandma would not go to Gulf Shores this winter. Instead, I was invited to spend two weeks with Grandma, Uncle Jay, and Aunt Wendy in the Cities! A very welcome option for me, because of life's craziness, I really needed a break...

While I was in the Cities, we did so many things! Swimming at the pool every few days, trying out fun recipes, going to see "The Artist" in theaters, Cosko trips, attending/ helping out at the Dare2Share conference, spending time with Rachel, and Zane, and going to Rachel's baby shower! And on top of all that, we spent time with good friends, and family. OH! And we were delayed coming home for 3 days because of a snow storm!!!!
The Lord really used family and friends to strengthen me, as a Christian, and I am now refreshed, and have a new fire to share Jesus Christ! As much as I did want to go to Alabama, I feel that the Lord had his hand in everything, and He sure knew what he was doing... even though it's often hard to see what He does is for the better. :) HJH
