We left the Miller's house on Saturday morning, and headed for the Candlewood Suites in Libertyville IL. At first our Tom Tom GPS took us to the wrong Hotel, but after some navigation, we made our way to the Candlewood Suites in Libertyville IL. We ate some lunch with Aunt Wendy, Uncle Jay, Luke, Ingrid, and Grandma. Then started to get ready for Pete and Anne's wedding. Uncle Jay and Aunt Wendy asked me to be the "Video Girl" for taping the wedding. That was a good experience. The wedding was beautiful. What else can I say?!? Zane did a wonderful job performing the wedding ceremony for Pete and Anne. The reception was held at a restored barn. Decorated with lights, candles, and flowers. They had hors d'oeuvres, sushi (I had my first taste of sushi! I'm very proud of myself), alaskan salmon, turkey, sandwiches and much more delicious fare. Anne looked beautiful dancing with her father.
We left all tired out from dancing around 10:30.

We started our trip to Chicago on Thursday morning, 9:00 am. On Thursday night we stayed with a friend of papa's, John Miller and his mother. They live in Wheaton IL, suburb of Chicago. On Friday morning, (with the help of a Tom Tom GPS) we headed for Chicago to the Austrian Embassy to get mama's passport renewed. After we had things taken care of at the Embassy, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. At the museum, we saw many things that I won't go into details about, but one thing that was fun was when the boys and I took a wild ride on a flight simulator. Of course, they sent me ALONE! Don't worry, I somehow survived the flips and turns... Then we took a tour on the U-505. That was fun too. We went back to the Miller's house where we ate pizza, played some games, and had a jolly good time in fellowship!

Guess what I am doing??

Since the Packer game is over, we are sitting down and watching the BBC production of Pride and Predjuduce! Love this movie!
Ingrid, I will try to bring it to Chicago in a few weeks! :)

Tonight....

Well, the packers lost tonight... I guess that will be all for this season. And all you Viking fans! I'm not sure, but I might root for them now, but that might change once I see all the other teams. You never know! :)
B'bye!

Highs and Lows of 2009

#1 Cutie! Lars Leonard

High: One high was when Lars Leonard Anderson was brought into this world. I think that Lars is one of the CUTEST baby's around!! If you look closely in this picture Lars has a little puff cereal on his cheek!

McKenzie and I

High: Earlier this summer McKenzie Larson (a really good friend of mine) came down to the cities with me for swimming lessons. I had a blast with her. We biked on some of the trails by Aunt Wendy's house, watched Legally Blond, biked up to the grocery store, baught some candy, donuts, and other junk food that girls like. Don't worry we shared most of it with Uncle Jay, and Leif. :) I would say that this was my most favorite highlights of the year!

Low: My low of the year was when our good friend Denis Weiberg died. It was a great loss to all of us who loved him very much, it was extremely hard on my father. But there is a HIGH in this, Dennis was a believer of Jesus Christ. So, that kept our spirits up, for we know, that we shall one day meet again in Heaven.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It seems like every year goes by so fast! I look back at pictures in 2008 and say WOW, was that already 2 years ago? It is now 2010! I have so many highlights from 2009. And I thought I would share some of my Highs and Lows of 2009! I pray the 2010 will be a good year for all of us!
ENJOY!
